Leader Reflections: Matt Garretson
In this program, successful entrepreneur and founder of the BurnBright Institute Matt Garretson presents key lessons he's learned in his career. He discusses the benefits of taking risks and developing curiosity as a growing business, and looks back on the early days of his business and the importance of setting specific and measurable goals when making plans for the future. Matt also explores what makes a great leader, describing his must-have list of leader characteristics. Finally, examines the challenge of work-life balance and avoiding burnout.
Matt Garretson is co-founder of BurnBright and a successful entrepreneur who built and led one of the nation’s leading technology-enabled claims resolution and medical monitoring companies, the Garretson Resolution Group. Since selling the business, Matt has dedicated himself to educating non-profit leaders. An avid learner, Matt is a graduate of Yale University, Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and Chicago Theological Seminary.
