Hard Conversations: Part 1

Leaders are often required to have "Hard Conversations" with team members, whether it's delivering bad news, providing critical feedback, or something else. Yet such conversations are a core leadership responsibility. In this program, Matt Garretson presents key points for being more better at hard conversations, including preparing effectively and avoiding "Avoidance".
Matt Garretson is co-founder of BurnBright and a successful entrepreneur who built and led one of the nation’s leading technology-enabled claims resolution and medical monitoring companies, the Garretson Resolution Group. Since selling the business, Matt has dedicated himself to educating non-profit leaders. An avid learner, Matt is a graduate of Yale University, Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and Chicago Theological Seminary.
