Some leadership responsibilities are unpleasant. Leaders are often required to have "Hard Conversations" with team members, whether it's delivering bad news, providing critical feedback, or something else. Yet such conversations are a core leadership responsibility. In this program, Matt Garretson presents key points for being more better at hard conversations, including preparing effectively and avoiding "Avoidance".

Matt Garretson is co-founder of BurnBright and a successful entrepreneur who built and led one of the nation’s leading technology-enabled claims resolution and medical monitoring companies, the Garretson Resolution Group. Since selling the business, Matt has dedicated himself to educating non-profit leaders. An avid learner, Matt is a graduate of Yale University, Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and Chicago Theological Seminary.
